Sacred Sounds: Harmonizing your Yoga Journey through Sound
Sound plays a significant role in yoga and is often used as a tool for enhancing the practice and promoting well-being. Sound in yoga is employed to deepen concentration, elevate the state of consciousness, and create a harmonious environment for the mind, body, and spirit to unite. It can enhance the overall experience of the practice and help practitioners cultivate a deeper connection with themselves and the present moment.
Join us for a half-day workshop on 23 July in Yoga Scheune, where we will will unravel some theory on Vāk (Speech in Yoga) and Nada (Sound in Sanscrit) which recognises the immense power of sound in shaping our reality.
Throughout the workshop, we will do some practical exercises, to explore the concept of sound influence on our mind and body. We will start with a sound meditation, then flow through a Hatha Vinyasa class using sounds, take a break with some Ayurvedic snacks, and finish the workshop with a self-massage, singing bowls, and a deep Yoga Nidra relaxation.
All levels are welcome. PM to sign-up.
